VP / EP, Current Production
Since joining the Left/Right team over eight years ago, Mary has worked on some of the most prestigious projects in the office, from co-directing the feature documentary
, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, to executive producing the Showtime series
, to writing, producing, and directing five films for
The Middle School Moment
The Education of Omarina
, both of which received Emmy nominations. She also crafted the documentary
Women of Honor

Sex in America
, among many others. Mary has also had a hand in development and reality projects that run the gamut from fashion makeovers to car restorations to internet dating shows. In addition to her producing and writing skills, Mary often plays a key role in helping to set the look and visual style on our productions.
Before Left/Right, Mary lent her talents to projects ranging from History’s highly-rated miniseries
America: The Story of Us
to the PBS series
and multiple episodes of NOVA. She produced and reported several segments for public radio’s award-winning series
This American Life

premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Mary is a Wesleyan graduate and a lifelong New Yorker. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband (whom she met at Left/Right!) and her delightful son (who is still learning his left from his right).
